Principe Azzurro
Principe Azzurro was a workshop I led in Italy in collaboration with Serratura and Info Handicap Italy.
The workshop was designed to bring together young people of diverse backgrounds and abilities, providing opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
The theme of the workshop was the Middle Ages. I first worked with the participants on developing their characters, after which we used improvisation to create and develop the story.
The workshop took place twice a week over a period of three months, followed by one week of intensive rehearsals.
During this time, I directed a short performance, which was presented at the festival Medievale di Laterina. I also created Principe Azzurro, a short film.
In addition, I filmed the making of Principe Azzurro, documenting parts of the rehearsal process and including short interviews with the participants.
